HB9HQ-Award

The USKA donates the HB9HQ Award every year. The diploma can be earned every year during the IARU HF World Championship. On the one hand, it is intended as a reward for those radio amateurs who contact as many of the 12 HB9HQ stations as possible during the IARU HF World Championship. On the other hand, it is also a recognition of the contribution of each radio amateur to the final result of HB9HQ.

The award is issued in four classes, requiring 3, 6, 9 or 12 QSO on different bands and modes. The award can be obtained electronically as a PDF at no additional cost. Applications with log excerpt are to be sent to traffic@uska.ch by e-mail.

Class Extra 12 QSO with HB9HQ (all bands 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 & 10m – each in SSB and CW)
Class I 9 QSO with HB9HQ (different bands/modes)
Class II 6 QSO with HB9HQ (different bands/modes)
