As part of the ARISS programme, schools occasionally make contact with the ISS space station, organized at great expense by highly committed USKA radio amateurs.

The ARISS radio contact between astronaut Andreas Mogensen, KG5GCZ, on the International Space Station (ISS) and two schools in Eutin and Marl was a complete success. On December 4, 2023, NDR broadcast a report on “Schleswig-Holstein Magazin” about the pupils from Weber-Gymnasium in Eutin who had contact with the ISS. The program can now be viewed online. The television report is the first feature in “Schleswig-Holstein Magazin” and runs until minute 3:27. |
