At this year’s National Mountain Day (NMD)* a special prize was awarded for stations with an output power of > 1 kW. Göpf, HB9TI has accepted this challenge and modified his homebuilt station according to these requirements. At the September meeting he will present the station in a lecture followed by a demonstration (at the dummy load).
Who for: All technology-related HAMs/SWL, especially from the NMD and SOTA community.
Prior knowledge: HB9
When: Friday, September 1, 2023, 8:00 p.m. (hall opens at approximately 6:30 p.m.).

*) The NMD is a short contest in CW and/or SSB for the 80 m band. The station must be operated off-grid and be located at least 800 m above sea level. The weight must not exceed 6 kg. The contest is announced by the USKA and is held each July.
