On Saturday 10 June 2023 the EMC meeting 2023 took place in Bern. Urs HB9BKT gave an overview of all EMC activities of the USKA, as well as the actions for interference containment Euroloop. Martin HB9GYF explained bearing situations with the Kraken SDR. Peter HB9CET Bandwacht showed how he documents and reports intruders. Urs HB9BKT presented from his point of view the possible foreseeable “EMC construction sites” in the future and informed about the measurement results of the ENAMS station on Monte Ceneri. In the practical part, Leander HB9RMW showed various interferers and their partly bad construction standard. Armin HB9MFL explained in the practical part how to reprogram the PLC adapters to take into account the notches in our amateur bands. Urs HB0BKT showed in the practical part how to trace interferences with the IC 705. Further with which ferrites one can eliminate disturbances. Martin HB9GYF showed the Kraken SDR hardware with antennas. Further a Cavity mark self-made with material from the building house against TelePage transmitter. Next year the EMC meeting will take place at another location because of the reconstruction of the church building.
