Reopening of Museum ENTER with Shack
On December 1, 2023 Enter Technikwelt Solothurn will open: Switzerland’s largest interactive museum for analogue and digital technology.
It was announced that the amateur radio room would be converted into a functioning shack and that the station would regularly be QRV under HB9E. The shack will have an ICOM 7610 for shortwave and a groundplane antenna. The VHF/UHF is also in preparation, but further details are not yet known. Also still somewhat in the dark is the concrete occupancy plan and for operation on the opening weekend and later. As soon as details are known, they will of course be communicated.
The Museum Enter and the amateur radio operators who are preparing the station are therefore looking forward to your visit, whether in person or “over the air”.
