The old forum is dead – Long live the new forum!

The old discussion forum of the USKA could no longer be continued. The system had to be restored several times a month after a crash and the separation between uska.ch and the forum made a lot of work and also produced costs.

Therefore we had to decide to discontinue the old forum and to provide a new discussion forum. It should also be multilingual and offer a contact point for interested guests and visitors from abroad. For this purpose we integrated the new USKA discussion forum directly into the homepage and benefit from the common user administration and the multilingualism, which we continue to develop independently of the forum on the whole uska.ch site. Unfortunately, for compatibility reasons, the previous contents could not be taken over.

The new forum can be reached as before at https://forum.uska.ch and at https://www.uska.ch/forums. In order to participate in the ham exchange (Surplus) or in the discussions, one must be logged in. a corresponding notice is now displayed.

Every USKA member is entitled to a login for uska.ch and gets access to the forum and the other contents like HBradio archive, etc.. If you do not have a login or have problems with your login for uska.ch, please contact us at webmaster@uska.ch.

Unfortunately already during the test phase in the last 2 weeks the public area was heavily abused by porn sites and other dubious providers. The used software could detect and suppress most of it, I as webmaster maintain the posts 2-3 times a week. We will stop abuse consequently. If this does not succeed in a timely manner, I ask for your indulgence.
